Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, founded in 1951, is a state maritime polytechnic under Indonesia's Ministry of Transportation that entered the IMO White List in 2000. It offers Diploma IV programs in Nautical Science, Marine Engineering and Port & Shipping Management (KALK) plus STCW seafarer certification diklat.
