We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Chief Officer to join our LNG vessel and become an important part of a professional and safety-focused crew.Position: Chief OfficerVessel Type: LNG CarrierContract: Long-term / Rotation basisJoining: As soon as availableSalary: Competitive, depending on experience and qualificationsKey Responsibilities• Take overall responsibility for cargo operations and cargo equipment.• Ensure safe and efficient loading, discharging and handling of LNG cargo.• Supervise deck operations, maintenance and crew activities.• Supervise and train deck officers and ratings.• Ensure proper maintenance of deck machinery, cargo equipment and safety systems.• Liaise effectively with the Master, shore management, terminals, agents and other parties.• Support the Master in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.Requirements• Valid STCW certification and relevant CoC.• Valid LNG / Advanced Gas Tanker training and certification as applicable.• Previous experience as Chief Officer on LNG/LPG or other gas carriers.• Strong knowledge of LNG cargo operations and related safety procedures.• Good command of written and spoken English.• Good leadership, communication and team-management skills.• Strong safety awareness and a proactive approach to shipboard operations.• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.We Offer• Competitive salary and attractive employment package• Stable employment with a reputable company• Professional and supportive working environment• Good crew and strong safety culture• Opportunities for long-term cooperation and career development• Full support from experienced shore managementIf you are an experienced Chief Officer looking for a stable and professional position on an LNG vessel, we would be pleased to hear from terested candidates are invited to submit their CV, certificates and relevant sea-service experience for consideration.
