APPLY NOW - Rank: UTILITY HOUSEKEEPINGContract: 6+/-1 monthsEmbarkation: 29.08.2026Type: PASSSize: 24344 Grt (900 pass max capacity)Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure familiarity with cleaning equipment usage. Properly store all cleaning equipment securely when not in use. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of assigned areas at all anize, clean, and tidy lockers in adherence to safety regulations.Clean guest and crew public restrooms as scheduled or required. Replenish soap, toilet paper, and hand towels as necessary. Sanitize restrooms regularly. Conduct nightly washdown of vide clean linen to the Medical Centre daily. Supply the Spa with clean towels regularly.Keep the gangway clean and tidy on port days. Vacuum the carpet and dispose of garbage.Vacuum all carpets in guest and crew areas daily, including corridors and offices.Clean and sanitize guest staircase hand railings and elevator buttons according to schedule.Empty and clean garbage bins daily in assigned areas and offices. Sort garbage before disposal (dry, burnable garbage in one bag, bottles, and cans in another).Maintain cleanliness of fabrics in guest areas using correct materials and methods. Ensure shampoo equipment is in good working order. Fulfill guest requests in the absence of stateroom stewards, including make-up and turn-down llect and deliver guest luggage to/from respective decks.Assist stateroom stewards during turnaround day by stripping beds, collecting soiled linen and towels, vacuuming staterooms and guest corridors, and any other assigned vide wheelchair assistance to guests when required. Assist as a directional guide during embarkation and disembarkation. Perform other gangway duties as assigned.Assist with stateroom deliveries as needed.RequirementsCleaning Experience: Previous experience in cleaning or related roles, preferably within the maritime or hospitality industry, showcasing proficiency in maintaining cleanliness in public areas;Language Proficiency: Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous for effective communication with guests, staff, and other departments;Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness in public spaces, contributing to a positive guest experience;Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage cleaning tasks in public areas, ensuring a well-maintained and welcoming environment for guests;Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a dynamic maritime environment, adapting to the specific needs and schedules associated with cleaning public areas;Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with other cleaners, housekeeping teams, and various onboard departments to ensure coordinated efforts in maintaining public area standards;Communication Skills: Effective verbal communication skills, facilitating clear and courteous interactions with guests, staff, and colleagues in the cleaning department;Problem-Solving Abilities: Quick and effective problem-solving skills to address any issues or concerns related to cleaning public areas;Physical Fitness: Good physical health suitable for demanding duties associated with cleaning, including standing for extended periods and lifting and carrying items as needed;Professionalism: Exemplary professional conduct, maintaining a high level of integrity, discretion, and respect for guest and staff privacy;Perform other duties as assigned by the respective department head or ship tributes Proactive, Team Player, Problem Solver.Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven.Must have a professional appearance and good hygiene.Respect for all co-workers and guests.Pride in your work by creating positive energy, excitement and fun.Able to work 7 days a monstrate positive behavior, smiling, being polite and courteous.Able to develop a camaraderie with team members.Ability to live in close quarters, share limited space with another cabin-mates.Documentation RequirementsValid Passport.Valid Medical.Valid Seaman’s Book.STCW Certification.Documentation related to the position.
