Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Makassar is a state maritime polytechnic (BLU) under Indonesia's Ministry of Transportation offering Diploma IV programs in Nautical Science, Marine Engineering and Port & Shipping Management (KALK), all rated Superior (Unggul) by BAN-PT. It delivers STCW seafarer formation and upgrading diklat and operates an LSP-P1 certification body across two Makassar campuses.
