We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated 2nd Engineer to join our LNG vessel and become an important part of a professional, safety-focused and well-organized crew.Position: 2nd EngineerVessel Type: LNG CarrierContract: Long-term / Rotation basisJoining: As soon as availableSalary: Competitive, depending on experience and qualificationsKey Responsibilities• Assist the Chief Engineer in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel’s engine department.• Take responsibility for the operation, maintenance and performance of assigned machinery and systems.• Supervise engine-room watchkeeping and daily engineering activities.• Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with the vessel’s PMS.• Monitor the condition and performance of main engine, auxiliary engines and other machinery.• Assist with troubleshooting, repairs and technical problem-solving.• Supervise engine-room ratings and provide guidance to junior engineers.• Assist with the safe and efficient operation of LNG-related machinery and associated systems.• Ensure compliance with the vessel’s SMS, company procedures and applicable safety and environmental regulations.• Maintain accurate maintenance records, engine-room logs and technical documentation.• Assist the Chief Engineer during inspections, audits, port operations and maintenance activities.• Participate in emergency drills and ensure assigned equipment and systems remain operational and readyRequirements• Valid STCW certification and relevant CoC.• Valid medical certificate and required STCW certificates.• Valid Advanced Gas Tanker / LNG training and certification as applicable.• Previous experience as 4th Engineer on LNG/LPG or other gas carriers preferred.• Good technical knowledge of marine machinery and engine-room operations.• Familiarity with planned maintenance systems and technical documentation.• Good command of written and spoken English.• Good communication and teamwork skills.• Strong safety awareness and a responsible approach to work.• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.We Offer• Competitive salary and attractive employment package• Stable employment with a reputable company• Professional and supportive working environment• Good crew and strong safety culture• Opportunities for long-term cooperation and career development• Full support from experienced shore managementIf you are an experienced 4th Engineer looking for a stable and professional position on an LNG vessel, we would be pleased to hear from you.
