The Electro-Technical Rating is responsible for: - Assisting the Electro-Technical Officer as directed with the maintenance and operation of the electrical plant and equipment. - Assisting with the electrical section of the Preventative Maintenance Program. - Planning and performing daily maintenance and repair work. - Ensuring that the ship carries an adequate stock of electrical spare parts.
