We do this through our rigorous selection and training procedures thereby producing a large pool of qualified officers and crew with hands on experience on all classes of vessels, barges, rigs etc. Deploying and developing highly skilled seafarers for your vessels is the core purpose of our crew management business. We recognize the value of deploying seafarers who are well-trained and certified in accordance with STCW 2010 and the ISM Code. We are confident that a person on board is the most important factor in ship management and providing a crew with a high retention rate is our highest priority. High quality seafarer performance with absolute regard to compliance is the goal of the Ship Crew Management function within Overseas Marine. Ship Crew management encompasses a broad range of activities covering the recruitment and selection, deployment, training and ongoing management of the officers and ratings engaged on vessels under full management or crew management contracts.
