Who we are
Crewings.me is operated by the individual entrepreneur (sole proprietor, FOP) Oleinyk M.V., registered under the law of Ukraine. Location: Odesa, Ukraine. In our documents "Crewings", "we", "us" and "our" mean this entrepreneur.
01Our services
- crewings.me — the website: a directory of vacancies, crewing companies, training centres and courses, and public seafarer profiles.
- CREWINGS mobile app — the seafarer's and the company's account: CV, documents, applications, vacancy management (App Store and Google Play). The web version of the app runs at crewings.me/app.
- Telegram bot and channels — vacancy notifications and support.
- Marine Helper (marinehelper.com) — a related service for preparing a seafarer's CV and mailing it to crewing companies. It is run by the same operator and has its own documents.

The following documents together govern the use of Crewings:
- Terms of Service — the agreement between you and us.
- Privacy Policy — what personal data we process, why, and what your rights are.
- Payments and refunds — prices, payment methods and refunds.
- Disclaimer — what we are and are not responsible for.
Each document shows its version and the date of the last update at the top. The English text is the governing text; the translations are provided for convenience.
03Applicable law and supervision
Legal framework
- Governing law: our activity and all Crewings documents are governed by the law of Ukraine.
- Personal data: the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection"; for users in the European Economic Area and the UK, the GDPR and the UK GDPR apply in addition; the data-protection law of other countries where it applies mandatorily.
- Consumers: the mandatory consumer rights granted by the law of your country are not limited by our documents.
- Supervisory authority for data protection: the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights. Users in the EEA and the UK may contact the data protection authority of their country.
- Maritime recruitment: we follow the principle of the Maritime Labour Convention 2006 (Standard A1.4) that seafarers must never be charged for finding a job. Finding and applying for work and placement through Crewings are always free for seafarers, and companies using Crewings must not charge seafarers either. The only paid seafarer service is the optional Premium access to crewing-company contacts, which is never required to apply.
